Office of Admissions
Late Application for Admission

Please read this page carefully before you submit
a late application for admission.

The goal of the Office of Admissions is to admit every student for the term that will best meet their needs. For assistance before completing a late application please contact Peggy Byers at 907-786-1467 or come to the University Center One Stop and sign in for Admissions.

  • It is not always necessary to be an admitted degree student in order to take classes at UAA.

  • You must be degree seeking in order to receive most forms of financial aid but not all.

  • You will need to submit a Late Admission Agreement form with your late application even if you have already applied and want to change the application to the current term.

  • If you are unable to register for classes you will need to complete a non-degree seeking application for temporary access to registration.  You will be eligible to register in the non-degree seeking student priority group.

  • If you are a graduate student, contact your department for approval to apply late
    before you complete an application.

If you have met with Peggy Byers and determined that a late application is the right option for you, visit UA Online and select the LATE application (pictured highlighted below) for either a two year associate/certificate program or a four year baccalaureate program and follow the instructions.
