This course is a study of the structure, properties, reactions and bonding of main group, d and f elements with emphasis on metals and solid state chemistry.

The prerequisites for this course are CHEM A253 with a minimum grade of C and CHEM A332 with a minimum grade of C.

The lab component for this course is CHEM A453L and requires a separate registration.
