Through the hard work and dedication by student club members, more than $13,000 was donated to community service projects.  The work of student club members helped pay utility bills at the Emmonak Women’s Shelter, build houses for low income families through Habitat for Humanity, and pay for cancer treatments for a club member.

Forty financial management trainings were held this year for student club officers.  Students learned about responsible practices of spending university funds.  In collaboration with colleagues from University Advancement, we also offered an additional training session on fundraising best practices.
