Master of Education in Special Education

The M.Ed. in Special Education is designed for individuals who desire advanced professional preparation in Special Education. The program encompasses theory, research, and practice relating to individuals who experience disabilities.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

There are two different admission requirements; one for UAA and one for the COE program.


*Candidates entering the M. Ed. program in Special Education typically have completed our Graduate Certificate in Special Education. Credits earned during the Graduate Certificate program can be applied toward the total credits needed for the master’s degree.
