Get a head start on your degree or certificate with Tech Prep!

The Tech Prep program is a partnership between UAA and other educational institutions. It is a program that recognizes technical and related academic preparation and, where possible; work-based learning in a specific career field. It partners secondary education, post secondary education, labor and business in a sequential course of study without duplication of coursework. This provides unique opportunities for students who are interested in a technical career pathway and wish to continue toward a certificate and/or degree.

All Tech Prep courses are pre-approved and use UAA curriculum standards. Each agreement is unique and subject to change. Students pay a $25 per credit fee.
