Dietetics - This program is designed for individuals who would like to become registered dietitians. The degree has been designed in accordance with the 2008 eligibility requirements and accreditation standards from the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Dietetic Internship - The UAA dietetic internship is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). The internship offers the supervised practice experience required by the American Dietetic Association to sit for the registered dietitian (RD) examination.
Hospitality & Restaurant Management - This degree program prepares students for exciting, unlimited careers in the ever expanding service industry. Unlike other four-year programs, UAA’s unique course of study features both a strong culinary core and a progressive business management core.
Nutrition Minor - Nutrition is a rapidly growing and changing field. The minor acts as a supplement to other fields of study and the application of knowledge to target populations and systems. The minor can be completed via distance delivery or through the traditional lecture setting.
WIC CPA Training Program - The WIC CPA Training Program is a partnership between UAA and the State of Alaska, Department of Health and Social Service Office of Children's Services: Family Nutrition Services.
