SafeZone Committee Meetings

Come to a SafeZone Committee meeting, where everyone is welcome. You don't have to be a trainer or have already completed an ally training to participate. Discuss on-campus issues that GLBTQ students/faculty/staff face, and participate in the planning process for programs and social events to bring allies and the greater campus and Anchorage communities together!

Meeting Dates: Thursday, Feb. 28 & Thursday, March 28

Meeting Location & Time: Leadership Lab, Student Union 2nd Floor, 4-5 p.m.

 

 

 

"The Family (LGBTQA Club) Meetings"

The Family exists to promote awareness of the issues confronting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and ally students, faculty, and staff of U.A.A. and the community at large.  It is primarily a safe meeting place and social  organization, but it also provides information and education, support and referral, and engages in political action, lobbying, and social reform.  Membership is open to all sexual orientations and gender identities.
