Please make an appointment with the DSS Director or Coordinator to establish eligibility PRIOR to using the DSS AIM system. 

Disability Support Services at UAA has an online accommodation management system, called AIM (Accessible Information Management). Students login to request the specific accommodation needed for each class each semester. Notification to faculty can occur by email or hard copy.

Once eligibility has been determined:

Students login to AIM to make specific requests each semester.

• Enter Course Request Numbers for each class
• Select the adjustments that are needed
• Submit for faculty notification
• Come back to schedule exams

Students request a temporary username and password from DSS to login to AIM. Students can request orientation from DSS staff.
