Federal regulations require all first-time Federal Stafford Loan borrowers to participate in Entrance Loan Counseling before receiving the first disbursement of your loan proceeds. If you are a first time borrower (having never received a federal student loan before), an Entrance Loan Interview is Mandatory before your loan can be credited to your account or a check can be issued. If you are a transfer student, you must complete the Entrance Interview at UAA.
