Application Process for the University Honors College
Admission to the University Honors College is limited to students who are admitted to a baccalaureate degree program at UAA. Admission deadlines for UAA are July 1 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester. Apply for admission to UAA online.
All applicants are required to review the University Honors Code of Ethics and sign the University Honors Ethics Pledge. The University Honors Code of Ethics provides guidelines for the conduct of students enrolled in the University Honors College at UAA.
Please note that these forms are best viewed on either Internet Explorer or Opera. The admission process is divided into the following categories: a) Regular Application for Admission and Scholarship- for all students applying from high school or transferring into the program with previous college-level work. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA, and show strong evidence of ability to reach and maintain a 3.5 GPA level at UAA. Students should be placed in ENGL 111 or above before registering for HNRS courses.

The University Honors College is open to all baccalaureate degree seeking students of all majors. All students who believe that they can succeed and benefit in an honors program are encouraged to apply.
