2011 Unified Directory Project: Employee Usernames
UAA is partnering with UAS, UAF, and OIT to improve electronic identities statewide. Advantages include single usernames for any campus, advanced email options, and a more reliable computing experience. Students received new usernames and gmail in 2010. In 2011, employees will get a new username and technicians will visit departments to tune computers. Read more about the large and exciting initiative at the Unified Directory project page.
Chancellor's 2010 Web Standards Project
Read about the Chancellor's web standards project. This project initiated by the Chancellor's Cabinet aims to unify and improve UAA's web presence. The migration of departments to the CMS' new theme, Denali View, will be conducted through 2011 by Advancement, Information Technology, and Disability Support Services.
