Prospective Graduate F-1 Student Admission Process

A NEW online application is available for Prospective Graduate F-1 Students.  Go to http://uaonline.alaska.edu and choose the "Intl Graduate Bachelor Reqd" application.  A visa or mastercard is required to complete this application.

Graduate applicants please note:  Academic admission to the department does not fulfill all F-1 requirements for an I-20.  Review the requirements above carefully!

New students who do not attend the mandatory orientation will have a hold placed on their student account (which will prevent adding and dropping classes as well as other functions) and will have to pass a comprehensive exam before it can be removed.  DON'T MISS THE NEW INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION!

Health Insurance Requirements

Fall 2008 Proof of Insurance Deadline is Monday, September 9. 2008.  F-1 and J-1 students who do not provide proof of Fall insurance by the deadline WILL BE DROPPED FROM CLASSES, WHICH WILL CAUSE THE STUDENT TO BE OUT-OF-STATUS AND SUBJECT TO SEVIS TERMINATION AND DEPORTATION.
