Registration for Howl Days Orientation

Orientation Registration for Summer/Fall 2013 is NOW AVAILABLE!!
  • Orientation costs $75 per student and $25 per guest (except those that indicate differently).
  • *Please note that the fee for attending Howl Days will be charged to your UAA account and will appear on your student bill.
  • Fees for Howl Days are non-refundable.
    • If you are not able to attend the date on which you registered, we will re-schedule you for a different date if you notify us at least 5 business days prior to your original orientation date.
    • A Virtual Orientation (online) will be offered to those students that fail to attend their original orientation date or fail to notify our department within the 5 business day deadline.
  • Please make sure that you are admitted to UAA and will attend before you register, as the fee is non-refundable.

NEW OPTION: Those students who register for HOWL DAYS have the option to attend the MORNING SESSION (includes placement testing, advising, and registration) from 8am-10am. 

Those taking the Accuplacer test are required to pay $15 plus a $3 service fee prior to testing. This fee is separate from the orientation fee. Pay at the Advising and Testing website  (print the confirmation of payment and bring it with you on orientation day) OR pay with a credit card on the morning of orientation day. You will be required to present identification before the test is administered.

Alaska high school students that graduated in the top 10% of their class.

Fees: $25.00 per guest attending

All majors within the College of Arts and Sciences.
   
All majors within the College of Health.
   
All majors within the School of Engineering.
   
All majors within the College of Business and Public Policy.

   
All majors within the College of Education.

   
All majors within the Community and Technical College.

   
   
All students who will receive the UA Scholars Award or the Alaska Performance Scholarship; plus those students interested in the Honors College.

Transfer and Non-Traditional Students.
Veterans, active duty, and military dependents.
All Majors Orientation.
   
All students from rural Alaska and out of state.
All majors orientation.
   
You will receive an email confirmation from our office, providing instructions and granting access to the Orientation.
Indicate 'yes' ONLY if you would like to participate in the morning session (8am-10am) for placement testing, advising, and registration.
Remember to bring your ID.

I understand that there is a $75 fee for myself and a $25 fee for any of my guests attending the Howl Days with me; all fees are non-refundable and it will be charged directly to my UA account.

I am responsible for re-scheduling 5 business days prior to my original orientation date.

I further understand that an online orientation will be offered should I fail to attend orientation or re-schedule in a timely manner.
