I earned my B.A. in art education (1992) from Southern Illinois University; and I earned my M.A. in philosophy (2002) from Northern Illinois University.

 I have enjoyed teaching a wide variety of classes for the University of Alaska.  Currently, I teach night classes for the University of Alaska Anchorage, mostly for the Chugiak-Eagle River Campus.  I teach Introduction to Philosophy and Introduction to Logic.  Teaching these courses is a tremendous source of happiness and satisfaction.  If you are a student, thank you for joining me in this passionate journey of discovery.
