Dr. Landry Signé was born in Cameroon and has lived all over the world. He is now the newest professor in UAA's Political Science Department and is also a Banting Fellow at Stanford University's Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law. He has also taught at Stanford University, the University of Oxford, and served as Chairman of the Global Network for Africa’s Prosperity . He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Montreal, and is a frequent commentator on issues of African governance, emerging markets, and economic development. His work has appeared in many leading periodicals including The New York Times.
