The Department of Political Science at the University of Alaska Anchorage presents a Summer Academy of Intensive
Graduate Courses for Social Studies Teachers June 10 to July 14, 2013.
Each
course meets for fourteen hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9.00 to
11.00 a.m. and (after a break for lunch) from 12.00 noon to 2.00 p.m., Thursday
from 9.00 to 11.00 a.m. for review and conclusion, and for two more hours Sunday
from 6.00 to 8.00 p.m. for the final examination. Reading assignments are
distributed in advance. At the instructor's discretion, papers may be due up to
two weeks after the examination.
