Academic Year 2013/2014 in-state graduate student tuition is $391 per credit or $7,038 for 18 credits - (full time 9 credits for 2 academic semesters).

Academic Year 2013/2014 out-of-state graduate tuition is $799 per credit or $14,382 for 18 credits - (full time 9 credits for 2 academic semesters).

Resident         $391 per credit hour
Non-resident   $799 per credit hour

Graduate Student Health Insurance

All research proposal budgets must include health insurance for graduate students at the following rates:

Annual cost: $1,959/year for health insurance. 
Semester costs follow:

• Fall Semester $714
  

• Spring Semester $709

• Summer Semester $537

• Spring/Summer $1,245

Student Stipends
 
Example of student stipend and benefit calculations:

A student working 20 hrs/wk for two semesters (GN or SN) plus extra time on holidays may work a total of 760 hours. A student working 40 hours/week during the summer (GT or ST) may work up to 560 hours. Summer work accrues staff benefits of 8.1%. Total hours for an entire year: 1320. Each department on campus determines the number of student hours worked per year slightly differently. Contact your fiscal office for more information on the number of hours a student may work in your department.
