Research Services and Resources

The Office of Research and the Graduate School provide a variety of resources for the University's faculty, staff and students. Please take a moment to review the services offered.  Let us know if you would like additional assistance or have questions not addressed on our website.

Office of Sponsored Programs  assists Principal Investigators with the pre-award process including proposal submissions.

Grants and Contracts assists the Principal Investigators and departmental administrators the post-award process from award set up through close-out of restricted funds.

Research Integrity and Compliance Information on compliance committees and resources including the IRB and IACUC and RCR Training.

Technology Commercialization Support for patent applications, copyright issues, technology transfers, and intellectual property queries.

INNOVATE Internal UAA award program designed to foster new ideas and encourage the expansion of research endeavors.

Graduate School  includes MA, MS, MBA, MCE, MEd, MFA, MPA, MPH and MSW. Two Ph.D. terminal degrees were conferred during Commencement May 2012 ushering in a new era for the University of Alaska Anchorage.
