- The Alaska Association of Environmental Professionals Scholarship: To provide scholarships for full-time undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program in the area of environmental (or natural) sciences, environmental technology, or environmental policy. There is one $1,000 award per year. The 2011/2012 deadline has passed. Please check back later for 2012/2013 application and deadline.
- The Edward and Anna Range Schmidt Charitable Trust offers grants and emergency financial assistance for Alaska Native students of Earth and Environmental Science (internship support, travel and/or expenses related to workshops and science fairs, support needed to secure employment in science-related fields or emergency needs). - The International Association for Energy Economics Research Scholarship
The Anchorage Chapter of the International Associateion for Energy Economics is committed to expanding the reach of energy information throughout Alaska in both the public and private sectors. We hold meetings once a month featuring both local and national experts as speakers. More information on the Anchorage IAEE can be found at www.anchorageiaee.org. The purpose of the Anchorage IAEE's research scholarship is to help fund an Alaska student's energy related research project. The winning student will submit their completed research to the IAEE and present to membership during thier May meeting. The selection of the winning applicant is largely judged on the merits of the submitted research proposal. Award amount is $1000 Qualifications: 1. Applicant must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. 2. Applicant must have met the principles requirement in economics. Application Instructions: Applicant must submit a research proposal that outlines research questions, proposed methodology and expected sources of information as well as an unofficial transcript to AnchorageIAEE@AnchorageIAEE.org by February 24, 2012. - Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants Scholarship - Scholarships available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution. Awards are $1000. Deadline to apply is June 15, 2012.
- AES Engineers: Scholarships are intended for future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. The award is available to high school seniors and all students a post secondary educational facility. Students are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible. Deadline: October 5, 2012.
- Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium: Scholarships and internships for Alaska Native and American Indian High School and College Students; Deadlines vary by scholarship.
- Alaska Travel Industry Association - Offering scholarships worth over $15,000 to Alaska students pursuing education related to the tourism industry. ATIA Scholarship applications available here. Awards vary between $1000 to $3000. Deadline to apply is March 2, 2012.
- American Welding Society - Scholarships available to students preparing for a career in the welding and related joining technologies. Deadline is March 1st of each year.
- American Cancer Society - Offering scholarships to young cancer survivors who are attending an accredited university, community college, or vocational technical school. Cancer Survivor College Scholarship Program Application available here. Deadline to apply is February 24, 2012.
- Campus Explorer Exclusive Scholarships - Awarding a $1,000 scholarship every month. Enter between the 1st day and 31st day of each month.
- Annual Academic Business Scholarship: Scholarship for students who are pursuing business related academic majors. Award: $1,000 per year. Deadline: April 1st of each year.
- BigSun Scholarship - Available to high school seniors or students attending post secondary institutions who are deserving athletes. Awards are $500. Deadline is June 22, 2012.
- DiversityJobs.com - Awarding $2,000 scholarships to full-time undergraduate/graduate diverse and minority students. DiversityJobs Scholarship application available here. Deadline to apply is 4/30/2012, and 8/31/2012.
- Electrical Generating Systems Association - The David I. Coren Memorial scholarship is offering up to eight (8) $2,500 scholarships to full-time students with a declared major related to the On-Site Power Generation industry. Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required. Download the EGSA David I. Coren scholarship application here. Deadline is May 1st of each year.
- Foreclosure.com Scholarship: Scholarship for students other than graduate, law, or incoming freshman. Awards range from $5,000-$1,000. Deadline is December 1st of each year.
- Institute for Humane Studies: Fellowships/scholarships awarded to students with liberty-advancing research interests. Students may be undergraduate/graduate.

- Marshall Scholarships: Scholarships are awarded annually to at least 40 young US citizens wh/o are college graduates. Successful candidates are able to study a wide range of subjects for a further degree at any of Britain's universities.
- National Society Daughters of the American Revolution: Awards multiple scholarships to students dedication to the pursuit of degrees in diverse disciplines including, history, law, nursing, and education. Deadlines and award amounts vary.
- National Society of Professional Engineers: Variety of scholarships offered to graduate and under-graduate engineering majors. Deadlines vary throughout spring.
- NAWIC FOUNDERS' SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION - Applicant must be currently enrolled in a /construction-related degree program, and have at least one term remaining in a course of study leading to a degree or an associate degree in a construction-related field. High school seniors are not eligible. Application must be postmarked by March 15th of each year.
- The Fruit Company - Offering scholarships to students who high school graduates pursuing degrees from U.S. colleges and universities. Scholarship amounts vary. Deadline to apply for Fall 2012 is April 30, 2012.
- Tillman Military Scholars: The Pat Tillman Foundation invests in veterans and military families through education and community. The Tillman Military Scholars program supports our nation's active and veteran servicemembers and their families by removing financial barriers to completing a degree program of choice. The scholarships cover not only direct study-related expenses such as tuition and fees, but also other needs, including housing and child care. The scholarship application will be available on March 7, 2011 on the Pat Tillman Foundation website.
- The BigSun Scholarship - Providing scholarships to young athletes. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they participate in. Award amount is $500. Deadline is June 12, 2012.
