The Publicity Center’s mission is to empower and educate students about UAA’s many advertising tools to help them successfully publicize their event. If your student club or organization is registered through the Student Clubs & Greek Life office, we can help you!
The Publicity Center can be found in the Student Life & Leadership office, located in Student Union 218.

Tuesday 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Wednesday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Thursday 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Friday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
What can we do for your student club or organization?
- Print fliers or banners
- Draft a Public Service Announcement for KRUA 88.1 FM
- Create an ad to display on the Plasma Screen in the Student Union and in the Student Clubs & Greek Life Office
- Create a page to advertise your event on facebook or myspace
- Create an ad to run in The Northern Light newspaper
- Reserve a table in the Student Union to promote your club or organization’s event
- Submit your event information to the online Student Activities or Student Events calendars
- Reserve the Display Case in the Student Union
- Find and order novelty items ranging from pens to T-shirts
- Graphic design
Some of these services do cost money (check here for our pricing guide), but the majority of the services we provide are free.
How do I request service from the Publicity Center?
- Stop by the Student Life & Leadership Publicity Center, located in SU 218, to complete a request form. If you have questions about your publicity plan, we are happy to assist you!
- If you anticipate spending money, a completed and approved Accepted Expenditure Request Form (AER) will need to accompany your request.
- We will begin processing your request. The time-frame will depend upon what assistance you requested from the Publicity Center.
- Depending on what assistance you requested, you will receive a confirmation that your request was completed, and if you have printed materials to pick up, they will be available for you.
