The University of Alaska Anchorage Student Support Services Trio Program will host nationally-known, award-winning speaker, author, and educational consultant, Dr. Joe Martin (former visiting professor at Florida A & M University). Dr. Martin will motivate students and adults towards academic excellence as the keynote speaker for the UAA National Trio Day Celebration, February 20th in the Student Union; he will speak to the Center for Faculty Excellence (CAFE) on Tuesday February 21st at 11:30 am; and he will encourage UAA Student Support Services students Tuesday February 21st at 5:00 pm.
