What are the immunization requirements at UAA?

Immunization requirements at UAA differ between departments, such as Resident Housing, the School of Nursing, Dental Hygiene, etc.  The UAA Housing Immunization Requirements include:

MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) - 2 doses

Tetanus Diphtheria - booster within the past 10 years; a one time booster of Tetanus Diphtheria & Acellular Pertussis (Tdap) is recommended, but not required

Tuberculosis (TB) - skin test within the past year or if history of positive test, chest xray results/and or date treated and currently free of symptoms or risk factors.

Hepatitis A - 2 doses

Hepatitis B - 3 doses

Recommended Immunization:

Meningococcal Vaccine

All of these are available at the SHCC.  Be sure to make an appointment and bring in your current immunization record.  For requirements for other UAA programs, contact your department or the SHCC.
