The UAA Student Health and Counseling Center provides the following mental health services: - Individual Counseling
- Medications
- Health Education (including classes, guest lectures, bulletin board, and pamphlets)
- Outreach Screenings for Anxiety and Depression
Eligibility for services and cost: - Any student who is enrolled in six or more credits and has paid the SHCC fee is eligible for our services.
- The initial appointment is offered at no cost. This appointment includes a comprehensive evaluation. Students are then eligible for six visits per semester at $15.00 each. We do not deny service due to inability to pay.
