Due to unsafe road conditions for Anchorage and surrounding areas, UAA’s Anchorage campus will be on a delayed start today, Thursday, Dec. 4. Campus will open at 10 a.m. to allow for safer travel.

Google Workspace Storage Reduction
Google has begun limiting the amount of storage that educational institutions are allowed to consume. As a result, UAA needs your help to reduce our overall Google storage consumption.

New UAA IT Strategic Plan
Microsoft 365 combines the familiar Microsoft Office desktop suite with cloud-based versions of Microsoft's communications and collaboration services - including Office Web Apps, Office desktop applications, SharePoint, and Teams to help individuals be productive from virtually anywhere through the Internet.

Google Storage
In 2021 Google annouced new rules and pricing for Google storage. Effective in October 2024 unlimited storage came to an end. System OIT and UAA ITS are working to establish new policies and stortage caps and will be annoucing changes to avoid significant cost increases. More to come soon.

IT Services offers installation, maintenance and repair for desktop and laptop systems, mobile devices and peripheral network equipment. Services are provided to UAA students, faculty, staff, and computer labs for both work and personal devices.
