Honor Guard

Honor Guard Mission

The Honor Guard is an extracurricular activity in the Air Force ROTC program. It is designed to train drill and ceremonies and military professionalism. Members show proper ways to respect our nations' flag. Performances include presenting the colors at university sporting events and other various events like local dinners.

DET 001 Honor Guard's Overall Mission

The mission of the Honor Guard is to promote the University of Alaska Anchorage's ROTC Detachment 001 to the local community. Cadets are to be professional and exceed the standards given to them. Their dedication and professionalism allows them to be able to work together to accomplish the Honor Guard Mission.

Joining Honor Guard

If anyone is interested in joining either the color guard or the drill team Color Guard Practice time is: Friday 0745-0830 and Drill Team Practice times are: Monday 0800-0930 Wednesday 0800-0930
