Dental Assisting
The Dental Assisting program prepares students to become skilled members of the dental health care team. Assistants greatly increase the efficiency of the dentist in the delivery of oral health care and are valuable members of the dental care team. The Dental Assisting program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association, a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation and by the United States Department of Education. As a result of this, graduates are eligible to take the Dental Assisting National Board examination in General Chairside Assisting and upon successful completion will become Certified Dental Assistants.
