Engineering & Industry Building

The new Engineering and Industry Building will be located south of the UAA Bookstore and will connect to the UAA Health Sciences building via a pedestrian sky bridge across Providence Drive.The four-story building will add 75,000 gross square feet of teaching and laboratory space to the School of Engineering.

The innovative facility will house 24 new state-of-the-art laboratories, two classrooms enhanced for eLearning, five seminar and breakout rooms with interactive remote communication capability, a high-bay project design/assembly area, commons area with coffee shop, and over 40 offices for faculty and staff.
