The Department of Geomatics has established a GIS book award for student(s) currently taking GIS classes at UAA.  ESRI partnered with UAA to for this initiative in April, 2010 by providing books for winners. The book award will be granted each semester to 1 to 4 students showing best achievements in GIS.  We are proud to announce this years recipients of the 2011 awards.
