Project Management

Welcome! The University of Alaska Anchorage's Project Management Department is dedicated to ensuring that our students receive the best in project management education. Project management has evolved into a skill set required for managers in all areas of business, industry, government, and education. In today's competitive marketplace, educating employees in contemporary project management techniques is fundamental for organizations interested in improving their productivity, effectiveness, and financial performance. We offer both a Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) program and short professional training courses.

The Master of Science in Project Management program is one of the University of Alaska's newest and most dynamic graduate programs. We continually improve our course content and curriculum to better serve our students using the most relevant and effective information and techniques possible.

Our professional training short courses are offered as focused and in-depth classes tailored for professionals.  We offer short courses for a variety of subjects on a regular basis and can create custom short courses to meet a specific organization’s need by request.

Our classes are specifically designed to meet the need of today's working professional. Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) program classes are held in the evenings and on the weekends. The MSPM program and professional training short courses are available worldwide with our online interactive video conference capabilities. Students can immediately apply skills learned in the classroom to their work. Thank you for visiting our website, please let us know if we can help you!
