UAA School of Nursing seeks innovative, energetic, academic professionals to contribute to our nursing education programs that incorporate world-class simulation technology with an emphasis on inter-professional learning and address health care challenges within Alaska. Nursing faculty responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction in classrooms and via distance education modalities. Faculty duties involve work to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing degree curriculum, participation in university and community service activities, fulfilling committee appointments and engaging in professional endeavors.

Qualified applicants must hold at least one higher degree in nursing with clinical specialty in the area of nursing specified in the detailed position posting. Applicant requires at minimum Master's degree and strong knowledge base in Nursing Education including curriculum development and teaching methods is necessary. You must also be eligible for unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Alaska.
