The Associate RN program prepares students to deliver patient care in a wide variety of acute care settings
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult and uncertain time. We know this is stressful and is compounded by all of the changes that appear to be occurring daily.
For AAS & BS Students: The academic advisors in the College of Health Student Success Center will be conducting advising appointments via zoom or telephone while social distancing guidance is in place. Students can continue to schedule appointments in the same way they have by calling the main line at 907-786-1318 or emailing uaa_healthadvising@alaska.edu.
Kodiak: Nov 12 - 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, & Dec 10 - 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
For Other Issues: The School of Nursing's main office and HSB are affected by the the "Hunker Down" order. Access to campus buildings are restricted. Employees and students present for essential campus operations or specified academic reasons may access buildings using keys or WolfCards. Please email questions or concerns to the appropriate faculty or staff. They will be available by email during regular business hours. As we receive updated information, the changes will be filtered through course instructors so please check your Blackboard Announcements and email accounts regularly.

Our 2025 goal for the Nursing Endowed Scholarship is $250,000. The fund is currently valued at $53,946.
With your help, UAA's Nursing Endowed Scholarship will provide ten scholarships to support nursing students every year into perpetuity!

COVID-19 UPDATE: TEAS VI can now be completed online with a Virtual Proctor. Students can schedule via the UAA Testing Center website. Once registered Testing will schedule the student through the ATI website and get them set-up to test.
NEW: Starting with the Fall 2020 Bachelor's curriculum CHEM A103/L and CHEM A104/L are no longer required. Students will still need a minimum Chemistry prerequisite: High School chemistry or CHEM A054 or higher, with a grade of āCā or better.
The AAS and BS programs have transitioned to the ATI TEAS exam (sometimes called the TEAS VI) starting July 1, 2019. Previously completed HESI or Kaplan results can still be used through July 1, 2020, or until they expire, whichever comes first.
