Nursing Resource Center

The UAA Nursing Resource Center (NRC) is comprised of two skills labs and a computer lab. The skills labs are located on the second floor of the Health Sciences Building (HSB) with a small computer area in between the labs. The skills labs include two different rooms equipped with materials necessary for teaching technical and assessment skills. The purpose of the NRC is to provide a supportive, learning environment where nursing students can enhance and challenge their ability to provide holistic patient care through the development of assessment, communication, critical thinking, organizational, and psychomotor skills.
