Math TestingOverview

Testing is available in Math Testing Room, SMH 113, with a WolfCard or photo ID.

The testing process is designed to be a low-stress testing experience in a space that is comfortable, has few distractions and is self-paced. Pre-planning is important so that students take tests when best prepared and rested.

Test proctors actively monitor the testing environment for compliance with UAA academic honesty and integrity policies.

Testing Process

To take a test, students check in at either the Information Desk or directly at the test proctoring room (SMH 113), show their ID and receive their test.

  • Notes, books and cell phones are not permitted.
  • Tests can be taken any time during operating hours, but distribution of tests stops one hour prior to closing. All tests are collected promptly at the scheduled closing time.
  • Instructors subsequently pick up and grade their students’ tests. Graded tests will be returned in class.  The only exception to that is for distance ed classes.  Distance Ed Math students can pick up their graded tests in the testing center.

UAA Policies

Our test proctors comply with the following:

We are excited to play a role in student success!
