April 29, 2007: Destiny Jeffery in Recital

The Department of Music hosts a senior recital by guitar major Destiny Jeffery, a candidate for the Bachelor of Music, Emphasis Music Education degree, April 29 at 6 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building Recital Hall. This recital is free and open to the public. During her degree studies, Destiny has won recognition as a featured soloist in the Department's Symphony of Sounds annual concert, in recitals by the University Guitar Ensemble, and as a finalist in two UAA Academic Showcases. She has also performed in master classes conducted by such international artists as Manuel Barrueco, Robert Guthrie, and the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. Her recital will feature solo works from the Renaissance and Classical periods as well as a wide variety of repertoire from 19th and 20th century composers.
