Character Motivations in Literature at UAA will be hosted by the UAA Campus Bookstore on Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. Authors Jan Harper Haines (Cold River Spirits), Kim Rich (Johnny's Girl), Laurel Bill Downing (Aunt Phil's Trunk I, V) and mystery writer Stan Jones (White Sky, Black Ice, Shaman Pass) discuss motivations of characters, literary techniques and how it all comes together.
