RSVP now for the Alumni Association's "Curtain Call"

The UAA Alumni Association will be hosting its final Curtain Call for the year on Saturday, March 1, 2008, in the Fine Arts Building prior to "She Stoops to Conquer." A delightfully charming satire that has entertained audiences since 1773, "She Stoops to Conquer" follows a well-to-do young man too shy to woo ladies of his own class. Whatever will the young man do...is he doomed to be forever alone? Fear not, for an intrepid young lady poses as a serving girl to win his heart. Through a series of hilarious turns of plot, crazy characters, and country bumpkins in the best tradition of the Restoration comedy, Goldsmith takes the audience on a wild ride through 18th century England.
