Be a part of Commencement 2008

by Kathleen McCoy  |

It is the time of year when we celebrate the success of our students at the annual Commencement Ceremony. Commencement is traditionally an opportunity for recognizing and celebrating the achievements of our diverse student body. Our graduates are tangible evidence of UAA's success in achieving our mission to inspire learning and to enrich our world. Moreover, Commencement is a unique opportunity to inspire vision and reawaken a sense of responsibility in each of us.

We would like to take the opportunity to invite you to participate as a volunteer in the UAA 2008 Commencement Ceremony to be held Sunday, May 4, 2008. This year's planning committee is working to create a team of dynamic volunteers. It is the hope of the 2008 Commencement Planning Committee to receive a strong level of support and assistance to make this year an amazing and successful ceremony to honor our graduating students.

We cannot think of a more fitting tribute to our accomplished graduates than to present them with a very memorable and successful commencement ceremony. This event would not be possible without the efforts of our volunteers.

Thank you in advance for your time and potential commitment. We are very excited and anxious to hear back from you and look forward to meeting and working with you.
