Mark your calendars for May 30 at 3 p.m. because Shelley Chapman is retiring after 28 exciting, action-packed years in the depths of UAA's budget world. Shelley, who in her own words, "arrived at UAA long, long ago when the earth was young and dinosaurs roamed freely," will surely miss the life she lived as one of Grants and Contracts' budget gurus.
A memory book will be available for signing beginning Monday, May 19 in ADM 227. Please be thinking of Shelley and share stories or comments in the memory book. Send photos of Shelley (from then or now) for a slideshow to Cheryl Wright at ancjw@uaa.alaska.edu.
