by Kathleen McCoy  |

The Bartlett Lecture Series is currently inviting UAA students, staff and faculty to submit ideas for Bartlett Lecture speakers. The Bob Bartlett Memorial Fund and the University of Alaska established the Bartlett Lecture Series in 1970 to present lectures on topics of national and international importance, helping to put problems of Alaska and its people into the context of broad philosophic and cultural as well as social and economic issues.

Speakers are featured at UAA, UAF and UAS. Previous Bartlett speakers include; Hugh Gregory Gallagher, Angela Davis, Noam Chomsky, Morris Dees, Clarence Page, Ward Churchill and Jill Cornell Tarter.

Please submit the speakers name and three reasons why this person would make an impact at UAA and University of Alaska system. E-mail your ideas to Zac Clark at zac@uaa.alaska.edu.
