UAA Percussion Ensemble to perform a wide range of styles - Nov. 25, 2008

Tuesday, Nov. 25, 7:30 p.m. Fine Arts Recital Hall

The UAA Percussion Ensemble, directed by John Damberg, featuring Brady Byers, John Hamlin and Corey Rainey, and the 12 members of the UAA Percussion Methods class, will present an exciting concert of toe-tapping percussion music guaranteed to make your body move. The concert will feature body percussion, Cuban cha-cha-cha, Brazilian samba, a fun ragtime quartet, a fiery Aussie marimba quartet, the loud pulsating drums of the "4/4 for Four Quartet" and the Mo Diddley drum line percussion ensemble. There will be solos, duos, trios, quartets and big ensemble pieces with big fun for all!
