Spring 2009: A talk on the future of the Arctic

Dr. Neil Hamilton originally worked in the mining industry before turning to research in coastal geomorphology and marine and coastal conservation planning. He was the Executive Director of the Forum for European-Australian Science and Technology Co-operation, and has worked for the Geosphere-Biosphere Program in Washington, D.C., and Stockholm.

Dr. Hamilton has led the Oslo-based Arctic Program for the past two years, building it to new levels by recruiting expertise in climate change, arctic species, governance and communications.
