TONIGHT: Big Bang Concert features UAA Percussion Ensemble

The UAA Percussion Ensemble's exciting Big Bang Concert will feature six of Southcentral
Alaska's most dynamic percussionists mixing and blending the sounds of Cuban, Brazilian
and Western percussion instruments into a magical percussion concert of memorable
melodies set to the hot grooves of samba, cha cha cha, mambo, Afro-Cuban 6/8, calypso,
rudimental and more. This will be a fun, rhythmically exciting concert not to be missed.
The UAA Percussion Ensemble members are Eric Bleicher, Brady Byers, Wayne Keller, Jasmine McQuown, Dave Talbot and Julie Webb.
Tickets in advance are $10 for adults, $5 for students and $2 for UAA students. Day-of-show tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and $7 for UAA students. Advance tickets can be purchased through the UAA Box Office at (907) 786-4849.
