'True North' magazine is fresh off the press

by Kathleen McCoy  |

True North, the general-interest magazine produced by Journalism and Public Communications students, is out. The magazine focuses on Anchorage and the vibrant university at its heart. Find copies where you normally pick up The Northern Light or contact True North at truenorth@uaa.alaska.edu.

This spring's issue features stories about an Anchorage boxer who went to Beijing for the 2008 Olympics, leaders you'll probably get to know more about in Alaska's next 50 years of statehood, hip destinations in Anchorage, and community-supported agriculture. This is True North's 14th year of publication.
