Guitar Ensemble concert planned for Dec. 6

The UAA Guitar Ensemble will present a concert of mixed duo on ensemble pieces. The program mixes duets by Fernando Sor with complete ensemble works arranged or composed for the group, including a work for the UAA ensemble by student Scott Fitzpatrick. Other works include a Sonata in C-Major by GF Telemann, a vocal arrangement from William Byrd and an ensemble work by French-Canadian guitarist/composer, Claude M. Gagnon.
Guitar Ensemble members include Scott Fitzpatrick, Cameron Brown, Lauren Laichak, Tovi Newman, Sebastian Fairchild, Matthew Person, Corey Smith, Eric Burton and Daniel Parra. The Ensemble is directed by Roland Stearns.
