Nov. 4, 2009: Arctic FASD four-hour workshop begins at 1 p.m.

The Arctic FASD Regional Training Center is once again offering a four-hour workshop on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs). It is free to students and open to members of the public.

The workshop will cover prevention of FASDs, the effects of alcohol on prenatal development, the characteristics of FASDs, screening and diagnosis, and treatment/interventions for individuals who experience FASDs.

All participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the workshop. Registration for this event is required.
