Spring training and development opportunities for UA employees are available

University employees may attend upcoming ComPsych webinars and SkillSoft e-learning demonstrations. The calendar is posted at the Human Resources training Web site and identifies the registration and access information to the events. There are no fees to attend although an employee should secure supervisory approval in advance if the event takes place during the employee's work hours.
ComPsych webinars are generally 45 minutes in length and are open to University employees system-wide. The upcoming webinars include:
- Wednesday, Feb. 3, 11 a.m. -- How to Receive Criticism and Make it Work for You
- Wednesday, March 3, 11 a.m. -- Sailing On: A Guide for Transitioning Into Retirement
- Wednesday, March 17, 11 a.m. -- Emergency Preparedness for Home and Family
- Wednesday, April 7, 11 a.m. -- Accountability in the Workplace
E-learning Demonstrations: A demonstration of the University's employee e-learning resources through SkillSoft, Corp. will be offered on the following days:
- Friday, Feb. 12, 10 a.m.
- Friday, March 19, 10 a.m.
- Friday, April 16, 10 a.m. for University Supervisors*
The demos are approximately one-hour in length and individuals may join the demo from a computer and a toll-free call-in number. Employees who register will receive a reminder e-mail 24-48 hours prior to the event.
*Although the Friday, April 16 SkillSoft demo is specifically scheduled for supervisors, University supervisors and managers may attend the earlier scheduled demonstrations, if preferred.
