June 19, 2010: First-Aid volunteers needed for Mayor's Marathon

Saturday, June 19, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Mayor's Marathon medical staff is looking for anyone interested in volunteering to work in a first-aid capacity for the marathon and half marathon race courses.

Requirements:

  • Medical Experience: FA/CPR certification or above (EMT, nurses, medics, doctors, etc.)
  • Work at one of the aid stations along race course or be a "Medical Biker" along a section of the course
  • Volunteer time approximately 2-6 hours
  • First-Aid kits provided plus a free t-shirt
