Seminar series on defining risk in arctic coastal resource development will feature two speakers - Nov. 5, 2010

Dr. Gabriel Wolken of the Alaska Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys will be streamed live from Fairbanks, speaking on "Assessing Natural Hazards in Alaska's Coastal Communities in a Changing Climate." He will be followed by Commander Shane Montoya of the U.S. Coast Guard, District 17, speaking on the Anchorage campus. His topic is "R-SP2 (Risk = Severity, Probability, Preparedness)."
