Spring 2012 faculty funding opportunities, applications due Nov. 28

The Center for Community Engagement and Learning (CCEL) announces two faculty funding opportunities for Spring 2012.

Faculty Minigrants: A request for proposals is now open for faculty minigrant funding to conduct community-engaged research or to plan and carry out community projects. Awards of up to $2,000 are open to full-time faculty in all UAA schools and colleges and at all campuses.

Community Engaged Student Assistants (CESA): Apply for tuition credit waivers for your Community Engaged Student Assistant to support your community-engaged teaching, research or creative activity. Applications are now being accepted for the spring semester.

Application deadlines for both awards: Monday, Nov. 28 by noon.
