Nov. 1, 2011: USUAA Student Government wants to hear from you, open forum for students

by Jamie Gonzales  |

Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2-4 p.m.
Student Union Den

USUAA Student Government will be hosting an open forum for students to meet their representatives, hear about upcoming events and projects and voice any concerns they have.

The event will take place in the Daily Den in conjunction with Student Commuter Appreciation Week. Free food will be provided for students.

As your representative voice, USUAA Student Government wants to know about your experience at UAA and offer our assistance with issues that affect students. Student Body President Ryan Buchholdt and Vice President Amie Stanley along with various other student senators will be available to answer questions and provide you with information about USUAA programs including the Legislative Advocacy Trip, Travel Grant and Leadership Scholarship applications.

For more information about this and other events please contact USUAA Public Relations Director Amber Wilkerson at ayprd@uaa.alaska.edu.

For specific information about the Legislative Advocacy Trip please contact USUAA Government Relations James Decker at aygrd@uaa.alaska.edu.
